This is our first home purchase from out of state and Christina Gaskill was there for us at every step. We met Christina fortuitously while ducking briefly into the Coldwell Banker business center on Siesta Key to escape the searing noon heat. After coming home, we asked Christina to look at homes for us and send videos. She not only gave us a video tour of the homes, but also gave us unbiased observations of the home to include whether the floor is creaking, there is damp and musty smell, pet’s marks in the home, construction quality, and pertinent information on home maintenance & construction ordinances. These were invaluable information as we are not residents of Florida.
Once settled on a new home construction by DR Horton in July of 2022, Christina visited the sites about once every 3 weeks to give a video update, including one video, the day after hurricane Ian passed through Ft. Myer, locating 60 miles south of Sarasota. The home is well built with cinder block and reinforced roof and sustained no damages other than the slider glass door becoming derailed off its track. She provided timely information, and this was such a relief for us. These video updates saved us a couple of unplanned trips to Florida. We flew down to the home for the walk-through inspection about 2 weeks before closing date. Christina meticulously helped us go through the home, pointing and labeling the defects that needed to be corrected. Before closing, she revisited the home and sent us the video of the repairs and touch ups so we could comfortably close on the home from out of state.
Her services do not stop after closing. She continues to work with the home builder and tracks down the responsible construction foreman, to finish any remaining touch up/repair items that were not accomplished before the closing (there were still a few remaining items, and the home purchasing agreement gives home builder up to 30 days after closing to finish the work). Upon our request, Christina shared with us a list of trustworthy contractors that we would need to service our home. This saved us much time and headache and is not an easy task for any buyer who is not familiar with Sarasota.
Throughout this home purchasing process, Christina is consistently representing the buyer interests, going the extra mile, quick to answer email and text questions, all the while with the most pleasant demeanor. She is truly a professional, reliable, one stop service for out-of-town home buyers and we are very fortunate to have found her. - Thien D.

Full disclosure, my wife and I can be high maintenance with extremely grand expectations for individuals we choose to do business with. Christina not only met our expectations, but she also exceeded them. We used Christina for both the buy and sell of our personal real estate in FL. On the buy side, she constantly was on point when we were reaching out, at all times of the day, requesting market comps, personal feedback on the neighborhood, etc... We had to run a market analysis or did an in person visit of 25+ homes. We also were constantly changing our top 3 priorities as we went through the process. She never got frustrated and even guided us as to where we might want to rethink a few items.

On the sell side, she immediately jumped on getting our house on the market. But more importantly, she provided us with a realistic range of what we should expect. So many individuals collaborate with realtors who give them false confidence in what their house will draw. Christina did not do this. But she also did not undercut the true value of our home. We ended up under contract within 2 weeks of listing.
